Our worship today continues to reflect our concern for the crisis in Ukraine. We of course are remote from the conflict, yet it provokes anxiety within us. Can God help us to cope with this?

The service begins with a hymn that declares our belief, despite circumstances, in a God who is gracious and unchanging: “Great is thy faithfulness”. I rather like the brass band accompaniment of this version!

We go over the Border – the Scottish one, that is – for our last hymn, sung by St Peter’s Church in Dundee. In fact it’s a great German hymn: “A safe stronghold our God is still”.
