In our worship today we remain in Corinth and look at a passage which St Paul resorts to humour in order to make a serious point.

We begin with a hymn from the “Wild Goose” stable: “Jesus calls us here to meet him”. This video uses the original tune, based on a folk melody from Lewis; in church we are using the great Welsh tune “Arwelfa”:

Our service ends with a song we often sing at Holiday Bible Club, asking God to fill us with his Spirit as he sends us into the world: “Shine”:
