Good morning and welcome to our service, which focusses on John the Baptist. Our “live” service in church actually includes the baptism of two people: an adult and a child.

We begin our service with a lively hymn that has become very popular (unbelievable to realise that it’s now 35 years old!) – “Make Way!”:

There really isn’t much of a contest for the closing hymn: it simply has to be “On Jordan’s bank the Baptist’s cry ”:
