Good morning and welcome to our service which takes a non-Hallowe’en look at October 31st – on which day, back in 1517, Martin Luther allegedly nailed his “95 Theses” to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany, and so set in motion the Protestant Reformation.
We begin with the well-known hymn “O praise ye the Lord” (in church we will have used a slightly updated version):
