Good morning and welcome to our service which today asks the serious question: “Why does God seem to vanish when we need him most?”

We begin our worship with a hymn to a great Welsh tune – “Alleluia! Sing to Jesus” (the version being used in church has a different last verse):

Our final hymn comes from Scotland: the quiet and meditative “O love which wilt not let me go” in a rather inspiring arrangement:
