Welcome to our service today, in which we look at the well-known story of the Feeding of the 5000. This theme will continue next week.

We begin with John Milton’s hymn “Let us with a gladsome mind”. Unfortunately this version omits the verse: ‘He his chosen race did bless/in the wasteful wilderness’.

Our closing hymn has been called “Wales’ other national anthem”: “Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah”. Here is a rousing rendition, not from the Principality Stadium but Tabernacl Chapel in central Cardiff.
