Welcome to our service, in which we focus on faith – or, rather, the lack of it!

We begin with a hymn of invitation: “Jesus calls us here to meet him”. This is clearly from a large church in Scotland but I don’t know where! The version we are using in church has an extra verse, appropriate for Communion; we also used the well-known Welsh tune “Blaenwern” rather than the “official” being used on this recording:

Our closing hymn is one of confidence and trust, often associated with the Salvation Army: “I’ll go in the strength of the Lord”:
