Good morning and welcome to worship for Trinity Sunday – probably the least understood of all the Christian festivals!
To me, “the” Trinity hymn is Reginald Heber’s classic “Holy, holy, holy”. Here it is in an inspiring (if rather old) version from a massed choir in Chennai, India: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNrbDR8TxYI. This is highly appropriate as Heber served as Bishop of Calcutta and visited Chennai (then known as Madras) a few days before his sudden death in 1826.
We conclude with a fine Scottish hymn, sung with gusto from Aberdeen although to a different tune from the one used in our church today: “Glory be to God the Father” – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikH8DfDADxc.
May God bless you as you worship with us.P.S. There’s something unintentionally missing from the video this week – did you notice?
