Welcome to our service for Advent Sunday, the start of not just our Christmas preparations but of a new Church year.

We begin with a hymn of hope: “Hark! A thrilling voice is calling” although the tune we are using in church is different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKC1zCaAE_o.

Our service in church also included the lighting of our first Advent candle and the dedication of our Christmas Appeal gifts for the needy. Together with our friends in the Cyncoed Ministry Area we reached the amazing total of £2,770 – thank you, and to Rhys and Liz for organising this.
