The ladies of Christchurch have been meeting continually on a Tuesday afternoon since 1970. During these 40 years the group has evolved from a gathering of mainly mothers to a gaggle of grandmothers and great-grandmothers!
The have been involved in many types of fundraising over the years, including Christmas Fayres, coffee mornings and themed lunches - Tea at the Ritz, Ascot Afternoon, Picnic on the Patio and D-Day celebrations.
They have knitted blankets for Belarus Orphans, jumpers for Oxfam, chicks, snowmen and puddings for Velindre Hospital. Ladies' Circle also supports the Loving Hands charity.
The ladies have produced many items to sell at church events, including baby clothes, soft toys, Welsh dolls and Cockle dolls.
Above all Ladies' Circle meetings provide somwehere to chat over tea and coffee and sometimes to talk about various topics involving Christchurch and beyond.
